Support Small Business Saturday

Saturday, November 27, 2010 is the first-ever Small Business Saturday, a day and movement dedicated to driving shoppers to support the local businesses that help boost the economy and preserve neighborhoods around the country. The Charles Nolan shop at 30 Gansevoort Street is a neighborhood store that is independently owned and even produces some of the styles you know and love right here in New York City. We’d like to encourage you to shop locally during this gift-giving season, as we offer a variety of fine gifts and home decor items, in addition to luxurious women’s apparel. And there is no need to break your budget, as many of our items retail for under $50. We will be open during our normal business hours on Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 27. Stop by and say hello!

Gond Exhibition & Reception

Charles Nolan & Radhika Gupta invite you to a reception on Tuesday, September 21 at 5:30pm at Charles Nolan’s shop, 30 Gansevoort Street.

The Gond exhibition presents a selection of paintings by three contemporary artists. Going beyond their traditional themes of forests and animals, they have used their vivid imagination to interpret New York City. The Gond style of tribal art creates eye-catching textures and patterns using dots, lines and curves. Each artist has his own distinctive style of patterning. Join Charles and Radhika as they present over 40 works by these artists and tell the story of their collaboration.

The Gond exhibition will run at the Charles Nolan shop through October 31.

Please RSVP to info@charlesnolan.com.
